About Ikebana

A turtle-shaped ceramic vase with colorful artificial flowers.

Ikebana is the timeless Japanese art of flower arrangement, where nature, balance, and intention come together in perfect harmony. More than simply arranging flowers, Ikebana is a mindful practice that celebrates simplicity, space, and the natural beauty of each stem, leaf, and bloom. Rooted in centuries of tradition, Ikebana transforms floral design into a quiet expression of peace and reflection. Every arrangement is thoughtfully composed to create a sense of calm, drawing the eye and the spirit into a moment of stillness. Whether placed in a home, workspace, or shared as a meaningful gift, Ikebana brings a touch of serenity and elegance into everyday life—inviting you to slow down, appreciate nature, and find beauty in simplicity.

About the Artists

Jerry Richman

Jerry Richman fell in love with the art of Ikebana on a recent trip to Japan and has been crafting his own arrangements since. He utilizes many traditional elements found in Japanese gardens such as stones and moss, while adding a contemporary element with creative vases, motivational signs, and pops of color. He lives with his wife in Atlanta, GA and has 3 children and grandchildren.

Teddy Hamilton

Teddy Hamilton learned the art of ikebana from Jerry Richman and now makes his own pieces with artistic twists. He uses orchids blended with bits from the natural world around him to create pieces that shine in any home or office. Teddy lives in Atlanta, GA as well and in his free time enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
